Livestock Climate Solutions conducts assessments of national and regional projects to evaluate their impacts on GHG emissions, methane emissions, and food security. Adaptation and mitigation options are developed to suit specific policy contexts, such as Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Guidance is provided on incorporating targeted adaptation and mitigation strategies into national climate documents, including the integration of animal health into NDCs. Training on sustainable livestock production systems is offered in context-specific settings. Additionally, tools and methods are developed to enhance GHG accounting in organizational operations, along with the creation of robust monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) systems. Livestock Climate Solutions also specializes in project design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Comprehensive literature reviews, policy assessments, and reporting on tools, methods, MRV systems, and mitigation and adaptation options are conducted, with a focus on climate change and climate finance. |
