Verso Energy is developing a hybrid technology solution that combines anaerobic digestion, horizontal drilling, and UASB wastewater to biogas technology. It allows stranded coal resources in existing mining areas to have the bioavailable carbon extracted and used for methane production using conventional wastewater to biogas type systems.
The business focuses on a solution that allows coal resource holders to transition away from conventional mining or CBM approaches, in favour of a lower impact alternative gas production technology. |
