The Colombian Council for Energy Efficiency (CCEE) is a non-profit organization created with the purpose of fostering activities related to energy efficiency as well as creating the awareness and knowledge within the country that would lead to a more efficient and rational use of energy in all sectors.
This association is made of energy services companies (ESCOS), independent energy consultants, and other companies which activities are related to energy use.
The CCEE is committed with the cause of lowering the methane emissions within Colombia. That is why activities intended to promote the capture and use of methane will be part of its future activities. Recently, the CCEE has started working closely with Colombia's Ministry of Mines and Energy (MEE) on a project to develop a national plant to lower the methane emissions in oil and gas industry. |
