Universidad Politechnica de Nicaragua (UPOLI) is devoted to research and development, technology transfer, technological innovation, and education in biotechnology. The university also works with probiotics and prebiotics for animal production, biogas technology for complex substrates, and biofuels based on local seeds. The university is working on developing technological transfer projects in biogas technology in order to reduce methane emissions and obtain renewable energy. |
