The Yunnan EcoNetwork (YEN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to environmental education and the dissemination of renewable energy technology in China’s Yunnan province. YEN specializes in promoting household-scale biogas reactor systems in rural Yunnan, which captures methane from agricultural and human waste for household energy needs.
The organization both supervises installations and educates farmers and youths about using biogas technology. YEN maintains strong ties with farmers, local and regional government, and the international environmental community in southwest China. |
