This initiative is sponsored by SUN - Society for the Underprivileged - an Allahabad-based NGO (Non Governmental Organization) formally incorporated in Allahabad in October 1997. SUN was registered in 1997 under the Societies Registration Act 1860 UP and in 2004 under the Foreign Contributions Regulation Act 1976.
SUN is a small congragation of members from academic, science and professional fields, working collectively for the poor, developing and serving appropriate technologies that have income generation potential.
SUN’s motto is “To Work For Those Who Need Our Attention The Most But Get It The Least”. |
