Through unique public-private partnerships, Oasis Energy Production's goal is to provide thousands of local residents, businesses, and schools with electricity from landfills. The company contracts with local governments to develop methane-to-electricity renewable energy plants as an extension of established waste managements facilities that meet certain requirements.
In addition to providing renewable energy resources for public use, the methane to gas process captures gas that could potentially be released into the environment.
