New Energy & Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), a Japanese Independent Administrative Agency, is a non-profit, semi-government organization in Japan. Its objective is to facilitate, by funding, R&D activities in the fields of new energy technologies and advanced industrial technologies in Japan. NEDO Washington DC Office is one of NEDO's foreign offices and its primary objective is to follow up US technology trends and US policy trends related to technology, energy and environment. It also aims to facilitate international cooperation by facilitating communication between research
entities in Japan and those in the US. |
