International Utility Efficiency Partnerships, Inc. (IUEP) is an association of utility companies interested in developing GHG reduction projects in developing countries. Established in 1994 as an affiliate of the Edison Electric Institute, IUEP has successfully assisted in development of fourteen projects in eight countries with certified GHG reductions of more than 50 million metric tons CO2 equivalent. IUEP projects under development account for tens of millions of additional tons of reductions. Currently, IUEP is soliciting methane reduction proposals under an RFP with an application deadline of May 31, 2005.
