GERES operates in Cambodia since 1994 and is a French based not-for profit organization specializing in sustainable development, with particular regard on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and energy policy.
One of the departments within GERES is the Cambodia Carbon Facility, a unit aiming at capacity building and support to sustainable project developers, assisting them accessing carbon finance.
The organization is interested in linking project developers in Cambodia with technology providers, funding, and carbon funds. There is scope at least for small scale to medium scale methane to carbon projects in agriculture and waste management. |
