The Environmental Protection Welfare Association of India works on the following:
* To reduce environmental risks and toxic pollutants at the local level.
* To cut greenhouse gas emissions and yield economic savings in the process to create liquidity in the environmental markets.
* To develop projects based on emission reductions and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects.
* To Encourage imposition and adoption of eco-friendly projects like:
- Solar energy projects
- Afforest ration and reforestation projects
- Tree plantation in waste land for Pongamia/Jatropha curcas projects
- Wind farm projects
- Geothermal energy projects
- Biomass energy projects
- Zero emission bio-diesel projects |
