ENVIRON facilitates projects to generate carbon credits under the market mechanisms of the Kyoto Protocol, including the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and Joint Implementation (JI), as well as other GHG offset schemes worldwide. Our projects focus on methane capture from landfills, anaerobic wastewater treatment, and coal mines; energy efficiency improvements; and carbon sequestration.
ENVIRON provides environmental, engineering, financial, regulatory, and policy insights to help organizations manage their GHG emissions agenda through emissions inventories and verification; a systematic process to evaluate the strategic importance of GHG issues to a corporation; advice on renewable energy and carbon sequestration projects and implementation of GHG emissions control technology for the energy industry; and energy audits and assistance in energy use monitoring and targeting. |
