AHEAD Energy Corporation is a nonprofit housed at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York, USA. Since 1988, AHEAD has sought to assist lower income countries to assemble the resources they need to develop local energy sources, making them available to improve people’s lives and livelihoods in ways that safeguard the natural environment. AHEAD brings expertise in hydrocarbon identification and production, and transitions from combustion fuel dependence using evolving energy mixes.
AHEAD is currently looking at a variety of ways to supply methane to households in developing countries. |
