Crusoe is on a mission to align the future of computing with the future of the climate. We reduce the environmental impacts of energy-intensive computation by powering climate-aligned digital infrastructure using wasted, stranded or clean energy sources, enabling innovations in artificial intelligence and other high-performance computing applications. Our energy solution - Digital Flare Mitigation® (DFM) - utilizes stranded and wasted natural gas to power advanced computing systems, which reduces methane emissions from oil production. Crusoe’s DFM systems are deployed directly to oil well pads where natural gas, a byproduct of oil production that would otherwise be wasted and flared due to limited or unavailable pipeline capacity, is converted into electricity to power modular data centers. These data centers support high-performance computing that enables innovation and advancements in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and cryptocurrency validation. |
